"As an early adopter who signed up when Can-Net Halifax was a single base, and who has subscribed to the VRS a year ago, I have seen major productivity gains with my RTK GPS. The convenience alone, of not setting up a base station or worrying about security, would be enough to justify the use. However, the expanded footprint and the enhanced accuracy of the VRS are certainly and advantage.
